An initiative in terms of urgency is our way of supporting key workers through making face masks. The aim is to support those without face masks by making face masks items that they really need. As we know there are thousands of brave individuals who are at risk every day because they cannot access the protective clothing they require. We are aiming to do our bit by making these items and getting them distributed locally to support the amazing work these individuals are doing to support us. Scrubs are being made by thousands now across the country. We are initially focused on those working in care-home staff, homeless shelters and initially on, masks and headbands. We initially focus on those working in the community of Newham.
The safety of students and staff is our number one priority, and we’ve worked hard to adapt and enhance our campuses so that you can access them in the safest way possible.
We have free face mask for key workers and those working in the voluntary sector during this time. If you believe you qualify, submit your request here for bulk order. Minimum collection is 3.
Whilst we remain closed, staff are working from home and post is being picked up and dealt with as usual. Our services are continuing to run, with many shifting to digital delivery. During these challenging times, our staff are going above and beyond to deliver vital services to the people who need them most.
This guidance covers children:
Staff are being advised to work from home where possible and a skeletal staff structure will be in place to deliver essential services.
