What You Will Learn

Participants in our after-school club at Fight for Peace will gain valuable skills in:

Sewing: Learn the fundamentals of sewing, from hand stitching to machine techniques, and create your own garments.
Designing: Explore the basics of fashion design, including sketching, fabric selection, and creating mood boards.
Pattern Cutting: Master the techniques of pattern cutting and learn how to translate your designs into wearable garments by creating and adjusting patterns.

These skills not only form the foundation for a career in fashion but also encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
