We are committed to your return to the blended-learning model operated during the year, subject to the national situation and government guidance. We know we can do this in COVID-secure environments as soon as travel restrictions lift.
We have invested heavily to support blended learning. This includes:
We are confident, based on the hard work and expertise of your course teams, that blended learning will give you a great experience at Caramel Rock and will enable you to meet your learning outcomes.
Our blended approach allows us to retain the successful elements of online learning while giving you access to our workshops and facilities. This is subject to the course of the pandemic and UK government restrictions.
Our main aim is to identify the health and safety protocols that will need to be put in place to maintain the safest possible environment for our students and will be in place.
Health and safety of members & staff come first.
Designated COVID-19 Officer will always be on Duty during operating hours to ensure all COVID-19 guidelines are being adhered too
Countering the prediction in the drop of students returning to their classes. Also the reduction in students in the building at any one time to allow us to fall within the new Government Guidelines.
Teacher- student ratios will be different and will fall in line with the COVID-19 measures outlined by Government guidelines.
Specific Covid-19 protocols are laid out for each course and activity.
Activities with high risk where social distancing or the safety to students and staff can not be maintained, will not run until clear guidelines from the government are released.
Caramel Rock have received Local Authority update on the rules and guidelines to follow in order for Caramel Rock to reopen and have been told to follow the Digital, Culture, Media and Support (DCMS) Guidelines which are for people in grass roots facilities.
Caramel Rock team can confirm our centre and all classes is completely compliant with all rules, regulations and health and safety criteria.
We in fact are taken measures beyond what has been deemed necessary by Local Authority’ in order to keep all Caramel Rock Staff as Safe as possible.
